2nd October - Gandhi Jayanti

2nd October started with great enthusiasm because campaign is the thing that i didn't do ever in my life. So this was great start for the day. Firstly , I gave the Two Gujarati autobiographies to my neighbours & they willingly took it & also praised me which boosted my confidence a lot.
And then i stepped out to interact with strangers & so on.
I went to a Local Garden where i saw 2 oldies and a teenage boy. I introduced myself and the book which i holded in my hands proudly. Before i could speak anything the boy took book from my hand & asked me " Marathi madhe ahe ka ? "I replied yes & took out d book & handed to him.. His father taking out money from his pocket said " Mulala wachnyachi khup aawad aahe , tyachasamor kahi chalat nahi". & here i saw father-son relation and learning attitude of a teenage of our Nation.
I was felt so happy about my first interaction with people that i forgot to click a pic with them.
We tried campaigning in local trains,Some got postive impact & some got negative also.
As we say Positive things encourage us & Negative things gives learnings and experiences.
I also interacted with lady police officials at Andheri railway station but in vain because they made us realize that sitting at stations is not an easy job and they also study for their exams so they get less time to read other than their study material. But i felt very proud & understanding towards them.
I experience a good impact in friends Group , that is , one lady took d book & her friend also took it .So there i experienced Group Effect.
I went to Borivali Railway Police Station where the officials were very welcoming & also purchased books . They appreciated me and also blessed me for my future endeavours.
Like this the day came to an end ,
Learning for the day was :

  • Soft speaking skills.
  • Proper introduction of the product.
  • Usefulness of the product.
  • Impact of book on life (Campaign of book)
  • Target people.( Youngsters , teenagers, senior citizens etc )

Thankyou
